As a seller on BookishFlow, you agree to the following responsibilities:
Provide accurate descriptions, condition details, and pricing for all listed books
Upload real, clear images of the actual book being sold (not stock photos)
Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours
Ship orders within 2 business days of order confirmation
Use proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
Maintain up-to-date inventory and mark items as sold promptly
Honor the listed price and not cancel orders for higher profit
Product Quality Standards
Books must be in the condition stated at listing (Like New, Good, Acceptable)
All pages must be intact and readable (minor markings allowed if disclosed)
Covers must be attached unless stated otherwise in the description
Highlighted or annotated copies must be clearly marked as such
Damaged, moldy, or water-damaged books are strictly prohibited without clear disclosure
eBooks and digital materials must be original and free from malware
Real Images Requirement
All book listings must include real photographs of the actual book being sold. Using stock images, publisher images, or images from other sellers is strictly prohibited and may result in listing removal or account suspension.
Tip: Books with real images are 3x more likely to sell and receive higher buyer trust scores.
Pricing Rules
All prices must be in Indian Rupees (INR)
Prices must include all applicable taxes
Dynamic pricing or price manipulation is prohibited
BookishFlow charges a platform fee of 10% on each sale
Prohibited Listings
Pirated, counterfeit, or unauthorized copies
Books with explicit, obscene, or offensive content
Items that are not books or educational materials
Digital downloads that infringe on copyright
Multiple listings of the same book at different prices
Books that are not in the seller's possession
Account Suspension Rules
BookishFlow reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for:
Repeated violations of the Seller Policy
Selling counterfeit or pirated books
Fraudulent activities or chargeback abuse
Consistently poor ratings (below 3.0 average)
Failure to ship orders within the required timeframe (3+ violations)
