1. Introduction

Welcome to BookishFlow (“Platform”). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

BookishFlow is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of books, e-books, sample papers, and educational materials. We act as an intermediary platform and are not directly involved in transactions between buyers and sellers.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Any activity under your account is your responsibility
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Each user may maintain only one account unless authorized by BookishFlow

4. Buyer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate shipping information for order delivery
• Pay the listed price plus applicable shipping charges for orders
• Inspect books upon delivery and report issues within 7 days
• Communicate respectfully with sellers and our support team
• Do not abuse the return or refund policy
• Collect COD orders in a timely manner — failed deliveries may incur fees

5. Seller Responsibilities

• Provide accurate descriptions, condition details, and real images of books
• Set fair and reasonable prices for listed items
• Ship orders within 2 business days of order confirmation
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours
• Use proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
• Honor the listed price — order cancellation for higher profit is prohibited
• Maintain accurate inventory and mark items as sold promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding the sale of goods

6. Prohibited Activities

• Selling counterfeit, pirated, or unauthorized copies of books
• Listing items that are not books or educational materials
• Using fake identities or providing false information
• Manipulating prices, reviews, or ratings
• Engaging in fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
• Attempting to bypass platform fees or payment processing
• Using automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

7. Payment Terms

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner
• BookishFlow charges a 10% platform fee on each successful sale
• Seller payouts are processed weekly to registered bank accounts
• Chargebacks and disputed transactions are subject to investigation

8. Shipping & Delivery

• Shipping timelines vary based on seller location and delivery method
• Free shipping is available on orders above ₹500
• Tracking information is provided for all shipped orders
• Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the item is delivered to the carrier

9. Limitation of Liability

BookishFlow acts as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not directly involved in transactions and are not liable for any disputes arising between users. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for a specific transaction.

We are not responsible for:

• Quality, condition, or accuracy of listed items
• Shipping delays caused by third-party carriers
• Losses resulting from unauthorized account access
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Content posted by users that violates third-party rights

10. Intellectual Property

All content on BookishFlow, including logos, designs, trademarks, platform code, and proprietary technology, is the property of BookishFlow. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from platform content without express written permission.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of BookishFlow shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
